Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
