Have you seen the one who turned away 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
