1/4 Hizb 38

The people of the Wood too called the messengers liars. 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 I ask of you no reward for this. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, and be not cheaters, 181 and weigh with the straight balance, 182 "And withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief. 183 Fear Him who created you and those who have gone before you." 184 They said: "You are no more than one of those who have been bewitched, 185 And thou art but a human being like unto us, and we deem thee to be of the liars. 186 So cause a fragment of the sky to fall on us, if you are truthful." 187 He said: My Lord is Best Aware of what ye do. 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 Yet verily your Lord is mighty and merciful. 191

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
