And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
