The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun is folded up, 1 The stars turn dim and scatter, 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 The ten-month pregnant female camels are abandoned, 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 And when the seas rise, 6 And when the souls are paired. 7 And the little girl buried alive is asked 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 And when the Writs shall be lain open, 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 hell is made to blaze, 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 [then] each soul shall know what it has put forward. 14 So by oath of those that revolve. (The planets.) 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 The closing night, 17 And by the dawn when it breathes 18 That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger, 19 Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. 20 obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust. 21 For, this fellow-man of yours is not a madman: 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 For whoever wills among you to take a right course. 28 but will you shall not, unless God wills, the Lord of all Being. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
