Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
