To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
