Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone on earth is destined to die. 26 But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 27 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 28 All those there are in the heavens and the earth turn to Him with solicitation, intent on His purpose all the time. 29 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 30 [ONE DAY] We shall take you to task, O you sin-laden two! 31 (We shall then see), which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 32 Tribe of jinn and of human, if you are able to penetrate the provinces of heaven and earth, pass through them! But you shall not pass through except with a power! 33 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 34 There shall be sent against you both flame of fire and smoke, and ye shall not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 36 When the sky is rent asunder, and becomes red like red leather, 37 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 38 On that Day, neither human nor jinn shall be asked about his sin. 39 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 40 The guilty will be known by their marks, and will be taken by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 42 This is hell, which the criminals deny. 43 They will go round between its flames and boiling water. 44 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 45
