Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
