And [so, O Prophet,] if they give thee the lie, say: "To me [shall be accounted] my doings, and to you, your doings: you are not accountable for what I am doing, and I am not accountable for whatever you do." 41 And there are those of them who hear you, but can you make the deaf to hear though they will not understand? 42 Some of them look toward you: But can you show the blind the way even when they cannot see? 43 Indeed Allah does not oppress men at all, but they do wrong themselves. 44 And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. Those will have lost who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided 45 And if We show you something of what We threaten them with, or cause you to die, yet to Us is their return, and Allah is the bearer of witness to what they do. 46 And for every nation is a messenger. So when their messenger comes, it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged 47 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 48 Say: I have no power to hurt or benefit myself, save that which Allah willeth. For every nation there is an appointed time. When their time cometh, then they cannot put it off an hour, nor hasten (it). 49 Tell them: 'Did you consider (what you would do) were His chastisement to fall upon you suddenly by night or by day? So why are the culprits seeking to hasten its coming? 50 What, when it has come to pass, will you then believe in it? Now, when already you seek to hasten it!' 51 "At length will be said to the wrong-doers: 'Taste ye the enduring punishment! ye get but the recompense of what ye earned!'" 52 Yet they want to be informed if it is true. Say: "By my Lord, it is the truth. You cannot invalidate it." 53

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
