VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 "And We shall remove from their breasts any sense of injury (that they may have), (So they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 When they entered unto him, and said; peace! He said: verily we are afraid of you. 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 Abraham said: "What, do you give me this tiding though old age has smitten me? Just consider what tiding do you give me!" 54 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing." 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
