۞ And God has said: "Do not take to worshipping two [or more] deities. He is the One and Only God: hence, of Me, of Me alone stand in awe!" 51 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and (all that is in) the earth and Ad-Din Wasiba is His [(i.e. perpetual sincere obedience to Allah is obligatory). None has the right to be worshipped but Allah)]. Will you then fear any other than Allah? 52 Whatever blessing you have is from God, and to Him you turn for help when distress befalls you, 53 Then when He removeth the distress from you, forthwith a party of you with their Lord associate. 54 that they may show unthankfulness for that We have given them. So take your joy; certainly you will soon know! 55 They even appoint a share of what We have provided for them [to false gods] they know nothing of. You shall surely be questioned about the lies you have been fabricating. 56 They assign daughters to Allah - glory be to Him - whereas they assign to themselves what they truly desire! 57 and when any of them is given the good tidings of a girl, his face is darkened and he chokes inwardly, 58 and he hides himself from people because of the bad news, thinking: should he keep the child despite disgrace, or should he bury it in dust? How evil is their estimate of Allah! 59 The attribute of evil applies to those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while to God applies the highest attribute, for He is Mighty, the Wise. 60
