Have you not considered your Lord - how He extends the shadow, and if He willed, He could have made it stationary? Then We made the sun for it an indication. 45 Then We take it to Ourselves, taking little by little. 46 And He it is Who maketh night a covering for you, and sleep repose, and maketh day a resurrection. 47 And it is He, Who drives the winds to be the harbingers of His mercy: then He sends down pure water from the sky 48 to revive the barren land and provide water for many creatures, cattle, and people. 49 And indeed, many times have We repeated [all] this unto men, so that they might take it to heart: but most men refuse to be aught but ingrate. 50 If We had willed, We would have raised up in every city a warner. 51 So obey not the disbelievers, but strive against them (by preaching) with the utmost endeavour, with it (the Quran). 52 ۞ It is He who made two bodies of water flow side by side, one fresh (and) sweet, the other brine (and) bitter, and has placed an interstice, a barrier between them. 53 And it is He Who created man from water, then appointed relatives and in-laws for him; and your Lord is All Able. 54 And they serve besides Allah that which neither profits them nor causes them harm; and the unbeliever is a partisan against his Lord. 55 But thee We only sent to give glad tidings and admonition. 56 Say: 'I do not ask of you a wage for this, except for him who wishes to take to his Lord a way.' 57 O Muhammad trust in that Allah Who is Ever-Living and will never die' Glorify Him with His praise, for He alone is sufficient to be aware of the sins of His servants. 58 Who created the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between them in six days, then He established Himself on the Throne - the Compassionate! so, concerning Him, ask any one informed. 59 But when they are told, 'Bow yourselves to the All-merciful,' they say, 'And what is the All-merciful? Shall we bow ourselves to what thou biddest us?' And it increases them in aversion. ۩ 60
