Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
