Hizb 46

And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139 Call to mind when he fled to the laden ship, 140 and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast). 141 then the whale swallowed him down, and he blameworthy. 142 And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill. 145 We made a plant of gourd grow up for him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 And they believed, whrefore We let them enjoy life for a season. 148 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Has thy Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 God hath begotten. Verily they are the liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Then bring ye your Book (of authority) if ye be truthful! 157 They have said that there is a relationship between Him and the jinn. The jinn certainly know that they will all be brought to suffer torment. 158 Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, 159 Except the slaves of Allah, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 can lure away from God any 162 Save him who is to burn in hell. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]. 165 Verily, we (angels), we are they who glorify (Allah's Praises i.e. perform prayers). 166 And indeed they (Arab pagans) used to say; 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 We would certainly have been the servants of Allah-- the purified ones. 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 [That] indeed, they would be those given victory 172 and that, verily, Our hosts - they indeed - would [in the end] be victorious! 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 Then when it descendeth unto them face to face, a hapless morn that shall be for those who were warned. 177 So turn thou from them for a while, 178 and see [them for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 179 Exaltations be to your Lord, the Lord of Might, above that they describe! 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 And all praise to God, the Lord of all the worlds. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
