Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Rather they were shocked that a Herald of Warning came to them from among themselves, so the disbelievers said, “This is something really strange.” 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 They gave the lie to the Truth when it came to them. So they are now in a state of great perplexity. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 And the earth - We have spread it wide, and set upon it mountains firm, and caused it to bring forth plants of all beauteous kinds, 7 thus offering an insight and a reminder unto every human being who willingly turns unto God. 8 And We send down from the skies water rich in blessings, and cause thereby gardens to grow, and fields of grain, 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 Denied before them (i.e. these pagans of Makkah who denied you, O Muhammad SAW) the people of Nuh (Noah), and the dwellers of Rass, and the Thamud, 12 As did the people of 'Ad and Pharaoh and the brethren of Lot, 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15
