Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the midmorning, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
