Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And removed from you your burden, 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
