▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 And We have provided therein means of living, for you and for those whom you provide not [moving (living) creatures, cattle, beasts, and other animals]. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
