۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
