Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Indeed the tree of Zaqqum, – 43 The food of sinners. 44 It will be like molted brass which will boil in the bellies 45 like boiling water. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 "Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water, 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 Surely this is what you disputed about. 50 Verily the God-fearing will be in a place secure 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
