Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 Honorable recorders, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
