Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
