And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
