O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters, as well as all [other] believing women, that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public]: this will be more conducive to their being recognized [as decent women] and not annoyed. But [withal,] God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace! 59 ۞ Now; if the hypocrites do not give over, and those in whose hearts there is sickness and they that make commotion in the city, We shall assuredly urge thee against them and then they will be thy neighbours there only a little; 60 cursed wherever they are found, they will be seized and put to death. 61 Such was the law of God among those before you; and you will not find any change in the law of God. 62 The people will ask you about the Hour. Say: 'The knowledge of it is with Allah alone, what makes you to know that the Hour is near' 63 Allah has indeed cursed the disbelievers, and has kept prepared for them a blazing fire. 64 To dwell therein for ever: no protector will they find, nor helper. 65 On the day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they say: Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and had obeyed His messenger! 66 And they will say: "Our Lord! Verily, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us from the (Right) Way. 67 O Lord, give them a double punishment, and put a grievous curse upon them." 68
