HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 who at first gave a little, then later held back? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
