And when Allah said: O Isa, I am going to terminate the period of your stay (on earth) and cause you to ascend unto Me and purify you of those who disbelieve and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve to the day of resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, so l will decide between you concerning that in which you differed. 55 As for those who disbelieved, I shall punish them with a terrible chastisement in this world and in the Next; and they shall find none to help them. 56 As for those who have believed and do good works, they shall be given their reward in full. God does not love evil-doers. 57 (Muhammad), what we recite to you are revelations and words of wisdom. 58 To God the case of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He created from the earth and then said, "Exist," and Adam came into existence. 59 This is the truth from thy Lord, wherefore be thou not of those who dubitate. 60 Tell whoever disputes with you on this matter after true knowledge has come to you: 'Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, and then let us pray together and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie.' 61 Verily! This is the true narrative [about the story of 'Iesa (Jesus)], and, La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the One and the Only True God, Who has neither a wife nor a son). And indeed, Allah is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 62 And if they turn away (and do not accept these true proofs and evidences), then surely, Allah is All-Aware of those who do mischief. 63
