۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 right before your very eyes? 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
