Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 until you visit the graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 you would indeed, most surely, behold the blazing fire [of hell]! 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
