And when Abraham said: My Lord! Make safe this territory, and preserve me and my sons from serving idols. 35 My Lord! surely they have led many men astray; then whoever follows me, he is surely of me, and whoever disobeys me, Thou surely art Forgiving, Merciful: 36 "O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in a valley without cultivation, by Thy Sacred House; in order, O our Lord, that they may establish regular Prayer: so fill the hearts of some among men with love towards them, and feed them with fruits: so that they may give thanks. 37 O Lord, You have knowledge of what we hide and what we reveal, for nothing on the earth or in the skies is hidden from God. 38 Praise be to Allah, Who has given me in old age Ismail and Ishaq; most surely my Lord is the Hearer of prayer: 39 My Lord! make me establisher of prayer and also from my progeny, our Lord! and accept Thou my supplication. 40 “O our Lord! And forgive me, and my parents, and all the Muslims on the day when the account will be established.” 41
