Moses said: "O my Lord, enlarge my breast, 25 "Ease my task for me; 26 And untie the knot from my tongue 27 so that they may understand my speech, 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 Haroun, my brother, 30 Strengthen me through him 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may exalt You much 33 And much remember Thee. 34 Indeed, You are of us ever Seeing." 35 He replied: 'Moses, your request is granted. 36 We had already shown you favor 37 “When We inspired in your mother’s heart whatever was to be inspired.” 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 when thy sister went out, saying, "Shall I point you to one to have charge of him?" So We returned thee to thy mother that she might rejoice, and not sorrow. Then thou slewest; a living soul, and We delivered thee out of grief, and We tried thee with many trials. Many years among the people of Midian thou didst sojourn, then camest hither, Moses, according to a decree. 40 I have chosen you for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother with My signs, and do not be negligent of My Remembrance. 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has become insolent. 43 Both of you must speak with him in a gentle manner so that perhaps he may come to himself or have fear (of God)." 44 The twain said: O our Lord! verily we fear that he may hasten against us or wax exorbitant. 45 He (Allah) said: "Fear not, verily! I am with you both, hearing and seeing. 46 So, go to him, and say: 'Behold, both of us are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not chastise them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; and peace shall be for him who follows the true guidance. 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 Moses said, "My Lord alone has knowledge of that, recorded in a Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 It is God who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel. He has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants. 53 Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. 54
