Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the midmorning, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
