The people of Al-Hijr denied Our apostles; 80 And we gave them Our revelations, but they were averse to them. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 that they earned did not avail them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 And say: Surely I am the plain warner. 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 concerning what they have been doing. 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 And indeed We know that you are disheartened by their speech. 97 Exalt with the praise of your Lord and be one of those who prostrate. 98 And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee the Hour that is Certain. 99
