The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
