Is he whom We have promised a fair promise which he will find (true) like him whom We suffer to enjoy awhile the comfort of the life of the world, then on the Day of Resurrection he will be of those arraigned? 61 On the day when He will call unto them and say: Where are My partners whom ye imagined? 62 Those against whom the sentence is justified will say: "O Lord, these are those we had led astray as we had ourselves gone astray. We clear ourselves before You: They never worshipped us." 63 They will be told to call their idols. They will call them but will receive no answer. They will see the torment approaching and wish that they had sought guidance. 64 And on that Day He will call unto them, and will ask: "How did you respond to My message bearers?" 65 The door to all answers will be closed to them and they will not even be able to ask one another. 66 But as for him who repented (from polytheism and sins, etc.), believed (in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messenger Muhammad SAW), and did righteous deeds (in the life of this world), then he will be among those who are successful. 67 And your Lord creates whatsoever He wills and chooses, no choice have they (in any matter). Glorified be Allah, and exalted above all that they associate as partners (with Him). 68 Your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal and all that they reveal. 69 And He is Allah: There is no god but He. To Him be praise, at the first and at the last: for Him is the Command, and to Him shall ye (all) be brought back. 70 Say, "Have you considered: if Allah should make for you the night continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than Allah could bring you light? Then will you not hear?" 71 Say: "Did you consider: if Allah were to make the day become perpetual over you till the Day of Judgement, is there a god other than Allah who can bring in night for you that you may repose in it? Will you not see?" 72 For it is out of His grace that He has made for you the night and the day, so that you might rest therein as well as seek to obtain [what you need] of His bounty: and [He gave you all this] so that you might have cause to be grateful. 73 And [warn of] the Day He will call them and say, "Where are my 'partners' which you used to claim?" 74 And [they will remain silent: for by then] We will have called forth witnesses from within every community, and will have said [unto the sinners]: "Produce an evidence for what you have been claiming!" And so they will come to understand that all truth is God's [alone]; and all their false imagery will have forsaken them. 75
