I swear by that which ye see. 38 And what you do not see, 39 it is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
