Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
