▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 In both of them, there will be two kinds of every fruit. 52 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 55 In them shall be those who restrained their eyes; before them neither man nor jinni shall have touched them. 56 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 57 [There will be] maidens as fair as corals and rubies. 58 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be anything other than goodness? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 green, green pastures -- 64 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 65 In both of them are two springs, spouting. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 69 In them are goodly things, beautiful ones. 70 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 71 Fair ones reserved in pavilions - 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets. 76 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
