Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 We have spread out the earth, fixed mountains thereupon and caused everything to grow to its proper weight 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
