Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
AlifLaamMeem. 1 The revelation of the Book is, without doubt, from the Lord Of The Creation. 2 Or do they say he has fabricated it? In fact, it is the truth from your Lord so that you may warn the people to whom no admonisher was sent before you. They may haply come to guidance. 3 It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two, in six days, and then He established Himself on the Throne. You have no guardian or intercessor other than He. Will you, then, not take heed? 4 He directeth the ordinance from the heaven unto the earth; then it ascendeth unto Him in a Day, whereof the measure is a thousand years of that ye reckon. 5 Such is He, the Knower of all things, hidden and open, the Exalted (in power), the Merciful;- 6 who gave everything its perfect form. He originated the creation of man from clay, 7 Then He made his seed from a draught of despised fluid; 8 Then He created him and (caused the angel to) breathe into him his (created) spirit. He gave you eyes and ears, and hearts, yet little do you thank. 9 And they say: "What! when we lie, hidden and lost, in the earth, shall we indeed be in a Creation renewed? Nay, they deny the Meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Say: "The angel of death, who is set over you, will take your souls, then you shall be brought to your Lord." 11
