We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
