Thus did We deliver the Children of Israel from the humiliating chastisement, 30 From Firon; surely he was haughty, (and) one of the extravagant. 31 We gave preference to the Israelites over the other people with Our knowledge 32 And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial. 33 These men do say, 34 "That [which is ahead of us] is but our first [and only] death, and we shall not be raised to life again. 35 Bring back to us our fathers if you are truthful.” 36 Are they better, or the people of Tubba' and those before them whom We destroyed? They were surely sinners. 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them for Our own amusement. 38 We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all - 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 save those upon whom God will have bestowed His grace and mercy: for, verily, He alone is almighty, a dispenser of grace. 42
