Lo! God said: "O Jesus! Verily, I shall cause thee to die, and shall exalt thee unto Me, and cleanse thee of [the presence of] those who are bent on denying the truth; and I shall place those who follow thee [far] above those who are bent on denying the truth, unto the Day of Resurrection. In the end, unto Me you all must return, and I shall judge between you with regard to all on which you were wont to differ. 55 “So I shall mete a severe punishment to those who disbelieve, in this world and in the Hereafter; and they will not have any supporters.” 56 And as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. Allah loveth not wrong-doers. 57 "This is what we rehearse unto thee of the Signs and the Message of Wisdom." 58 To God the case of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He created from the earth and then said, "Exist," and Adam came into existence. 59 (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt. 60 Those who dispute with you concerning him after the knowledge has come to you, say: 'Come, let us gather our sons and your sons, our womenfolk and your womenfolk, ourselves and yourselves. Then let us humbly pray, so lay the curse of Allah upon the ones who lie' 61 Verily! This is the true narrative [about the story of 'Iesa (Jesus)], and, La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the One and the Only True God, Who has neither a wife nor a son). And indeed, Allah is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 62 If they turn away (remember) God knows the mischief-mongers. 63
