The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
