Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 yet you ignore it. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
