The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
