Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him. God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
