And those who disbelieve say: What! when we have become dust and our fathers (too), shall we certainly be brought forth? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 Do not be sorry for them, nor be distressed for what they devise. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 And indeed your Lord knows what is hidden in their bosoms, and what they disclose. 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 Surely this Qur'an explains to the Children of Israel most of the matters concerning which they have disagreements 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
