Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 storming tempestuously 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 For a known calculated term. 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
