In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created, 1 Created man from a clinging substance. 2 Read! Your Lord is the Most Bountiful One 3 The One Who taught to write with the pen. 4 Teacheth man that which he knew not. 5 Nay, surely man transgresses; 6 because he thinks that he is independent. 7 Indeed towards your Lord only is the return. 8 Have you seen one who prevents 9 a servant [of God] from praying? 10 Hast thou seen if he relieth on the guidance (of Allah) 11 Or enjoins righteousness? 12 What is your opinion – if he denies and turns away, how wretched will be his state! 13 Does he not know that Allah sees everything? 14 No indeed; surely, if he gives not over, We shall seize him by the forelock, 15 A forelock, lying, sinning. 16 Then let him call his associates; 17 We shall summon the guards of Hell. 18 No, indeed; do not obey him! Prostrate and come nearer (to Allah). ۩ 19
